While Rusty's gone he really misses our bed--you can see why. This time he took my sleeping bag which is actually a little bit longer. That helped. He says sleeping on the floor like this reminds him of when we first came to Thailand. Even the regular mattresses here are very hard. Until we got our foam mattress topper, we were sore every morning.

We call these kids the lunch bunch. Every day Rusty had some kids who would come in during the lunch hour. I guess teaching is a full time job. He even had a group of boys at times. That's always encouraging to see as most of the talking is done by girls in the class.

There were always faces at the windows watching the other classes. Some kids would come in and sit in the back during classes. I'm sure there were probably teachers looking in also--some with cameras.

At the end of the camp everyone wanted to show their appreciation. The kids drew cards.

The teachers and Rusty all grilled food together.

And he was presented with some very fancy heart-shaped pillows. They're probably fancier than anything else in our house, but we'll enjoy them.
