In the Kitchen

Our "nieces" Kaimook and Lili asked if they could come over one day during their school break and bake a chocolate cake. They don't have an oven at their house so they don't know much about baking. They chose to make a chocolate cake with cream cheese icing. I used my mom's famous chocolate cake recipe and topped it with the cream cheese icing. The combination was pretty good.
When their youngest sister Mimi found out they were coming over, she wanted to come too. She really enjoys cooking.
The cake didn't last long at all. We all enjoyed a piece, sent the girls home with a couple of pieces, and had a couple left here at the house. It was a fun afternoon!
