A Communication Problem???

So last week I told you that the school called our neighbor and said they weren't ready for us to come. So we knew we had a little bit more time to prepare lessons and get rested up. Around noon today our neighbor called us after she had received an interesting phone call. Apparently someone from the school called to find out why the "farang" teachers did not show up this morning! She told them about the phone call she had received saying the house was not ready. Well, the phone call did not come from the head of the school. There was some controversy as to whether the house was ok for us to stay in or not. The person who called did not listen and was not supposed to call. So we were supposed to be at the school at 9:00 this morning only we didn't know it. Hehe. This all happened in Thai between our neighbor and the school. Think of how confusing it would have been if we had been involved! I think I asked our neighbor 5 times if we were supposed to go this morning because I was so worried about not understanding and messing things up. Maybe I should just chill a little bit and realize these things happen, and it's not the end of the world.
