PAC-Asia Conference

The last week was very busy as we were hosting the PAC-Asia Retreat/Conference here in Chiang Mai. Rusty and I had been working on this for 2 years, and it was great to see it finally all come together.
We held the conference at the Empress Hotel. We cannot brag on this hotel enough! The meeting package included the use of the meeting rooms, 2 coffee breaks, and the international buffet lunch. The hotel also upgraded our rooms free of charge. Everyone enjoyed the accommodations.
The speakers from America were a tremendous blessing to all of the cross-cultural workers. We had separate men's, women's, and children's classes in the mornings. We all met together in the evening for worship and preaching. Brenda Raburn, Thelnita Fincher, and Jessie Morell all did a wonderful job teaching the women. Lynn Raburn and Don Vestal did an excellent job teaching the men, and Joe Morell encouraged us through God's Word each evening. We were also blessed to be led in worship by Rodney Burdette.
