Well, here's a blog about Rusty's trip to the village. Our Thai teacher works with a foundation here starting orphanages. The little girl in this picture is one of the children at the home. Her grandmother had to place her in the home because the girl's parents are no longer living, and the grandmother cannot care for her. So Rusty took our Thai teacher, her parents, and her sister to visit Nuk's grandmother. It was about 3.5 hours away, and they enjoyed their trip. Please pray for Nuk. Pray that she will grow up and become a believer in Christ. There are no believers in her village. It is easy to feel sorry for the orphans here, but at the same time I can see God working in their lives. Some times Christian organizations are the ones taking the kids in. Because of this Nuk will hear the Gospel. It's a very important ministry. Many times if the parents were bad people, the children are neglected because they are deemed unlucky or bad too. The children don't even really have an opportunity if left in that kind of environment. Please pray for the children of Thailand. Pray that we would be faithful to share the Gospel, and pray that people would become believers.
