Tourist day with the basketball team

After the team finished ministering in Chiang Dao, it was time for a tourist/traveling day. They took in the elephant camp on the way to the next place of ministry. I think everyone enjoyed the elephant show, but it rained during the elephant ride. Madison and Britney were the only two without umbrellas. If you come to Thailand, you should ride an elephant. It's just something you have to do.

That afternoon everyone returned to the tailor for more fittings, and they found the McDonald's across the street. I think everyone was excited about that. They had been hitting the Thai food consistently since they had arrived.

That evening found the team in Chom Thong. The teachers were at the hotel ready to greet us, and they were excited about the week. We have learned that to be a teacher in Chom Thong at this school, you must have 1 boy and 1 girl. You can only be different if you have someone to even out with. For example, one teacher had 2 girls and one teacher had 2 boys. So they were ok since that kept the averages in tact.
