I didn't think about this happening!

We are blessed to have a dryer. Our dryer sits outside which has seemed like a good idea to me. I don't have to use it very often, but this time of I year I use it to finish the drying that is usually interrupted by an afternoon rain shower. I like it being outside under the carport because it doesn't heat up the house that way.

We were outside one evening when we heard something enter the back of the dryer while it was running. We probably should have investigated closely, but we didn't think much about it. A few days later, there was a terrible smell, and it didn't go away. We finally decided to take the dryer apart to find out the culprit. This is what we found...
It looked to be the remains of a mouse and a frog. I'm rough on the wildlife we have living around here, but don't worry. Texas is big enough...he's safe!
