While we were in the States, Pawn and Kham did quite a few jobs around the yard. They moved plants, cleaned out flower beds, and kept it looking neat. We have quite a big project going on in one of the front flower beds right now. Pawn and I went to the flower market this morning. I wish I had taken the camera. There were people everywhere! It really reminded me of going to Lowe's or Home Depot on a Saturday in America. I think everyone will be planting this afternoon. After shopping today I realize why Rusty does not take me or send me to the flower market very often. I spent way too much money, but in my defense it wasn't all for flowers. I bought a big bag of yard fertilizer and 3 bags of cow manure. I also stopped by the regular market to get a mirror for a new frame I bought back in October. So really I spent less than $10 on flowers. We should have had a better plan on what we wanted to do before we went shopping, but we had fun anyway.

House projects
Since returning to Thailand, we've been trying to complete some projects around the house. We'll be having some house guests after the upcoming conference, and we want to have things tidied up.

Here's the before shot. We're mixing the cow manure in with the soil getting it ready.
Here are the new flowers. We may not have enough...should have had a plan.
Behind the fish/flower bowl, there is a cleaned out flower bed. Before this was a whole bed of moss, but it wasn't looking too good during the cold months. We had to move the fish/flower bowl out into the sunlight as the water was too cold for the water plants and the fish too. Bad thing...we'll have to move it again in a couple of months because it will be too hot. Hopefully I'll have the after pictures before too long.
