Rusty caught this picture one day before English classes. The ice cream cart on the left is a Wall's ice cream cart. The guy on the right sells coconut ice cream sandwiches. It is definitely a mixture of the old and new here. We have major brands such as Wall's, Nestle, and Magnolia that will drive by your house, and we have the independents. This particular which sells the ice cream sandwiches is good. They put coconut ice cream in between two slices of white bread. Then they add sticky rice and sweetened condensed milk. We caught him in front of our house, and I went out to buy one for Rusty. Rusty had heard about these, and he wanted to try one. The salesman asked me if my husband was Thai. Haha! That was the one and only time someone has asked me that. I think he was just amazed that a farang would want one of these ice cream sandwiches. Rusty really enjoyed his, and he would like another one.
